The best dressed pots title was as far as I got with the blog a few weeks ago. I think I will have to revise my blog commitment from weekly to monthly.
Vanda has kindly donated a suited jacket complete with bow tie for the coffee pot and knitted the most beautiful striped bobble hat for the tea pot! Thank you.
We have enjoyed a lesson in calligraphy from David before the half term break. Rosemary kindly illustrated a rosebud border for the lovely Valentine cards we made. Thank you so much both of you. I haven't been able to part with mine yet- maybe next year. Meanwhile my carefully crafted four letter word of love adorns the mantle piece.
Audrey told me she used her developed script to reply to a wedding invitation.
Trying out new crafts is another of the temptations at The Making Place as if the cake wasn't enough.
I've been tempted by a knitted collar but I haven't quite got to grips with moss stitch- as you will see tomorrow. The variety of different rows knit one purl one offers is quite amazing. I can't wait to hear your comments!
I hope we have all enjoyed a good half term break.
We will be welcoming Caroline tomorrow who paints glass and is willing to help out in the kitchen.
Looking forward to seeing you and your projects soon.
