We have been looking back over last year and celebrating the lovely friends we have at The Making Place.
Cake remains the number one reason for coming! We really enjoyed learning new crafts at our treat day and would like to learn more.
Already this year Mary has taught us how to cross stitch (sea horses) and next week Angela will be helping us to make felted pebbles.
We have at theme for this years exhibition "The Sea= above and below" which will be on June 15th.
You will see our paper rafts. plastic carrier jelly fish and bottle top fish, to name a few.
We want to raise awareness of our polluted seas as well as enjoy the creative ways we can recycle.
It's a great theme I managed to make a faulty French knitted scarf for a teddy bear into a sea creature today! My teddy is bare but the exhibits are mounting.
